English courses > Supplementary English course
Our students (your ladies) are doing the English Course in the Raisalee School and making quite good progress. Very soon, in about two weeks, the groups that started learning English last October have already finished the 80-hour course comprising 4 modules. This course aims at mastering the basic vocabulary of the mostly spread conversational topics and the main rules of the English Grammar.
This 3-month intensive English Course turns out to be of great use if a lady leaves for abroad immediately after she has done it. In this case she gets an opportunity to improve and develop the skills acquired here in a natural linguistic surrounding. If she has to stay in Russia for some more time, the skills acquired but still not solid enough may be partially lost if she stops practicing.
Those of you who would like to give your ladies a chance to continue their studies may be offered a supplementary English Course. This additional course is also divided into separate modules, 20-hour-long each. One module includes 3 conversational topics. Some topics may happen to sound similar (to those already being done) but they are taught at a new and more profound level. For example, the topic "Family". The students know the names of close & distant relatives, they can tell about their own families & ask another person about his, they can tell a person's name, age, job, hobbies and interests, etc. The topic 'Family' in the supplementary course includes such aspects of the family life as - raising children, children and school, pregnancy and having a baby, planning a family budget, vacation, discussing family problems (chores around the house), etc.
Besides there is a chance to get to know some new conversational topics: 'Looking for a job', 'Problems with cars', 'Problems with the apartments'. The ladies can also have an opportunity to improve their grammar, to learn some new everyday English formulas, etc.
We hope that our supplementary English course will help your ladies to master their knowledge.
